Position Overview:As the

Director of Sales , you will play a key role in positioning our Fairfield Inn and Suites as the top choice for both business and leisure travelers. Utilizing your expertise in Marriott Select Brands, you will craft and execute strategic sales initiatives to boost occupancy rates, revenue, and market share. Your leadership will be crucial in fostering a collaborative environment focused on exceeding targets and delivering outstanding customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies to achieve revenue goals and market penetration.

Identify and target key market segments, building relationships with corporate clients, travel agencies, and other stakeholders to drive business.

Lead and mentor the sales team, offering guidance, training, and performance feedback to enhance effectiveness.

Collaborate with revenue management, corporate sales, and management teams to create pricing strategies, promotional campaigns, and targeted outreach.

Monitor competitor activities and market trends to identify differentiation opportunities and maintain competitive advantage.

Prepare regular sales reports, forecasts, and budgets to track progress and inform decision-making.

Represent the hotel at industry events, trade shows, and networking functions to promote brand awareness and generate leads.

Qualifications:

Relevant experience in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or related field (preferred).

Minimum of 3 years of progressive sales experience in the hospitality industry, with a focus on Marriott Select Brands.

Proven success in achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth in a competitive market.

Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse team.

Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills with a customer-centric approach.

Strategic thinker with the ability to analyze data, identify trends, and develop actionable insights.

Proficiency in sales, revenue management software, and hotel property management systems (e.g., Fosse) is a plus.

Bonus potential based on performance metrics and achievement of predetermined targets.
