Job Overview:

Under the direction of the Radiologist or Cardiologist and the Manager of Cardiac Cath/Special Procedures, the candidate is responsible for the operation of highly technical state-of-the-art radiographic equipment. They are accountable for patient outcomes in cardiac cath/special procedures and responsible for radiation safety practices in procedure rooms.

Job Requirements:

Associate's Degree in Allied HealthSuccessfully passed the Hemodynamic testEKG competency preferredAmerican Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or CVT/CVIT or Certified Electrophysiology Specialist (CEPS)BLS/CPRUnrestricted license from ODH if ARRTUnderstanding of aseptic technique3-4 years experience in a related field

Job Responsibilities:

Able to proficiently perform diagnostic and/or therapeutic procedures and their associated equipment through CEUs.Provide ongoing evaluation, documentation, and care of patients and families.Demonstrate proficiency, competency, and knowledge in diagnostic and/or therapeutic procedures and their associated equipment through CEUs.Maintain accurate records through the completion of all paperwork.Demonstrate organizational responsibility.

Sign-on Eligibility:2 years or more of experience in Cardiac Cath as Rad Tech: $26,250,000 SOB (2 years work commitment)Less than 2 years of experience in Cardiac Cath as Rad Tech or no experience: $13,125 SOB (1 year work commitment)Full-time employment commitment requiredRehires within 12 months are not eligibleInternal Candidates are not eligible
