Your mission, roles and responsibilities

The Senior Finance Director is in charge of coordinating and managing the consolidated financial activities within the Division. Duties and responsibilities listed here may vary depending on the split of duties & responsibilities that may be delegated from, or shared, with by the Division Finance VP.

The main missions of the role are:

Ensure all financial related procedures and tools are implemented and followed.

Develop, execute and control internal finance procedures including spending authorization in accordance with Group procedures and policies.

Ensure site activities are compliant with Faurecia Finance related procedures, and 9 internal control basics.

Ensure consistency and standardization of controlling processes within the BG/division.

Participate to the definition of IT tools and ERP to improve R&D controlling.

Alert and arbitrate in case of discrepancies.

Provide reliable financial/controlling information towards the management.

Lead all forecasting processes (budget, periodic forecast, …).

Manage reporting process ensuring reliability, consistency, transparency and delay compliance.

Ensure reliability of hourly rates.

Provide all necessary consolidated controlling analysis including variance analysis, R&D Site budgetary control, projects and programs monitoring.

Collaborate with Shared Service Center obtaining/providing/validating proper finance information.

Provide all necessary information requested by internal and external auditors.

Act as a business partner toward the engineering community, and provide recommendation to the management.

Propose, to the management action plans resulting from relevant analysis in order to achieve the operational targets (especially regarding costs, workload).

Identify and optimize external subsidies relative to research activities.

Share with program controller for different subjects (RFQA, IBP, Monthly Result).

Follow finance impact of action plans.

Ensure financial awareness of engineering operational teams.

Controls plant’s/central operational cash flow results including forecasting and budgeting.

Coordinates cash flow action plans with CBU/Operations/Purchasing/SSC.

Ensures reliability and accuracy of the cash forecast/budget.

Ensure the management and development of the controlling team under his/her responsibility.

Settle common reporting tools cross the Division.

Lead closing activities (BG / Group relationship, dead line, guidance …) for Budget, Forecast, month end closing & PMT.

Your profile and competencies to succeed

Minimum education level: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.

Experience:

7 years professional experience.

Plant Controlling preferred.

Team Management.

Skills & Competencies:

Strong communication.

Teamwork.
