Job Description and DutiesUnder the general direction of the Career Executive Assignment (CEA)-A of the Investigative Services Branch (Branch) in the Compliance Division (Division) within the Department of Cannabis Control (Department), the Staff Services Manager I (Specialist) will provide a high level of analytical support for the Branch performing a variety of the most complex, highly sensitive functions in the areas of administrative services, program evaluation and planning and formulation functions. The incumbent will assist with legislative and regulatory review, bill analysis, program budget evaluation, policy and procedures, data/information analysis, and reporting efforts for the Branch.

Special Requirements

The position(s) require(s) a valid California Drivers License (CDL). You must answer the questions addressing your CDL on your application.

Criminal Offender Record Information (CORI): Title 11, section 703 (d) of the California Code of Regulations requires criminal record checks of all personnel who have access to CORI.

Conflict of Interest (COI): This position is subject to COI Regulations.

Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) Employer Pull Notice (EPN) Program: The incumbent shall participate in DMV's EPN.

Travel: The incumbent may be required to travel up to 10% throughout an assigned geographical area of California.
