Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Director of Nursing to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will oversee and lead the nursing staff, ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care in compliance with all regulations and policies.
Duties:
Develop and implement nursing care plans
Provide leadership and guidance to nursing staff
Maintain accurate medical records and ensure confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA regulations
Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to create a comprehensive patient care plan
Monitor and evaluate the performance of nursing staff
Ensure compliance with all state and federal regulations related to healthcare services
Manage nursing budgets and resources effectively
Requirements:
Strong background in home health, home care, assisted living, and hospice care
Proficient in creating care plans and overseeing their implementation
Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate and mentor nursing staff
In-depth knowledge of physiology and medical terminology
Experience in nurse management and administration
Familiarity with medical records management systems
Understanding of HIPAA regulations and patient confidentiality requirements
