Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Director of Nursing to oversee our nursing department and ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a deep understanding of healthcare regulations.
Responsibilities:
Develop and implement nursing policies and procedures in compliance with state and federal regulations
Supervise nursing staff and ensure adherence to clinical protocols
Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care
Oversee medical records management and ensure confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA guidelines
Monitor resident rights and advocate for patient needs
Provide an in-home assessment with a care plan for clients receiving homecare
Skills:
Demonstrated leadership abilities in a healthcare setting
Proficient knowledge of HIPAA regulations and compliance standards
Familiarity with anatomy and medical terminology
Previous experience supervising nursing staff in various settings such as hospitals or home care facilities
Ability to oversee medical records accurately and securely while maintaining confidentiality
Strong advocacy for resident rights and patient-centered care
