They are seeking a Director of FP&A who will analyze data and advise the President on using financial information to make strategic decisions about the company’s future. This opportunity will spearhead the entire Finance department and has an opportunity for upwards growth.

Job Details

Responsibilities Include:

Develop and implement financial strategies, plans, and budgets.

Conduct financial analysis, forecasting, and modeling to support decision-making.

Partner with cross-functional teams to identify and drive financial improvements and efficiencies.

  • Financial Reporting:

Prepare and present accurate and timely financial statements and reports.

  • Risk Management:

Identify and assess financial risks and implement strategies to mitigate them.

  • Strategic Financial Leadership:

Provide financial insights and guidance to support strategic decision-making.

Collaborate with other executives to align financial goals with overall business objectives.

  • Cost Management:

Implement cost-control measures and efficiency improvements.

Monitor and analyze financial performance against budget and KPIs.

  • Compliance and Ethics:

Ensure compliance with financial regulations, accounting standards, and ethical practices.

  • Qualifications and Skills:

Extensive experience in financial management, with a track record of progressively responsible roles.

Ability to think strategically and align financial strategies with overall business objectives.

Experience in a leadership position within a finance department.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey financial information to non-financial stakeholders.

Proven leadership skills with the ability to lead and develop a high-performing finance team.

Education and Experience:

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.

MBA or advanced degree in finance preferred.

CFA preferred

Restaurant or retail experience is required for consideration.
