Salary: $80,000 - $105,000 per year

Job Details

Responsibilities:

  • Payroll Processing & Data Accuracy: Support full-cycle payroll processing for multi-state and Canadian employees, ensuring accurate data management including hours worked, bonuses, commissions, and additional payroll inputs.
  • Compliance & Regulations: Stay current with federal, state, local, and Canadian payroll laws and regulations, ensuring that payroll processes comply with all legal requirements.
  • Reporting & Data Analysis: Generate and deliver payroll reports to support business needs. Conduct data audits and scrubbing to ensure the accuracy of reports and provide actionable insights.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the Payroll Manager and other departments to configure employee benefits, process garnishments, and ensure the accuracy of payroll deductions.
  • Issue Resolution: Address and resolve payroll-related inquiries and discrepancies in a professional and timely manner, ensuring high levels of customer service across internal and external stakeholders.

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of payroll processing experience, with multi-state and Canadian payroll experience preferred.
  • Strong proficiency in payroll software (Paylocity experience preferred) and advanced Excel skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of payroll regulations, tax laws, and compliance requirements.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, with strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Experience with payroll reporting and data analysis.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, or a related field.
