*Overview*We are seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist to join a K-12 school team, helping students achieve their full potential by addressing physical, sensory, or cognitive challenges. The Occupational Therapist will work closely with students, teachers, parents, and other school staff to provide comprehensive support and therapy, enabling students to succeed academically and socially.

*Key Responsibilities:** Assess students’ abilities and challenges in the areas of fine motor skills, sensory processing, self-care, and functional tasks in the school environment.* Develop individualized treatment plans to improve students' ability to perform school-related tasks and participate in daily classroom activities.* Provide direct therapy services to students, focusing on skills such as handwriting, use of tools, self-regulation, and adaptive behaviors.* Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and other professionals to integrate therapy goals into students' educational plans (IEPs).* Conduct regular assessments to monitor progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.* Educate and support parents and teachers on strategies to support students' development and participation in school activities.* Maintain thorough documentation of student evaluations, treatment plans, and progress reports.* Attend and participate in IEP meetings, parent conferences, and staff meetings as needed.* Stay current with best practices and advancements in pediatric occupational therapy.

*Qualifications:** Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.* Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist in the state.* Previous experience working with children in a school setting is preferred.* Strong understanding of child development, learning disorders, and sensory processing issues.* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.* Ability to adapt therapy techniques to meet the unique needs of each student.

*Work Environment:* This position is primarily based in a K-12 school environment, requiring interaction with students, teachers, and staff in classrooms and other school facilities. The Occupational Therapist may work with students individually or in small groups.
