Job Description:Past experience in either:Recent large-scale website design/redesign experience with upgrades or conversions, or:Recent large-scale constituent or customer management systems experience with managing the creation, upgrade, or conversion, ,or:Recent large-scale time tracking experience with managing the creation, upgrade, or conversion, or:Recent large-scale experience managing the implementation or remediation of security tools, or:Recent large-scale experience working with mobile device managementAbility to influence stakeholders and manage conflict.Exceptional attention to detail.Ability to communicate effectively.Project Management Professional (PMP), Agile Certified Practitioner (ACP), or other project management certifications.ResponsibilitiesAdherence to the Governance process by engaging stakeholders, preparing status reports, and conducting executive briefings .Conduct project planning exercises to successfully deliver the project .Vendor Management tasks including deliverable acceptance, milestone payment, contract adherence, and escalations .Budget Management and tracking .Create, track, and deliver project timelines, tasks, and metrics .Minimum QualificationsSeven (7) years as project lead with experience in technology projects involving multiple computer subsystems.Recent large-scale website design/redesign experience with upgrades or conversion.Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer information systems or a related field.Other combinations of experience and education that meet the minimum requirements may be substituted.All finalists for positions are subject to a criminal background check applicable to the department or position.Ability to be on-site as required by the project needs and project team activities.Preferred Qualifications The minimum qualifications listed above, plus:Project Management Professional (PMP), Agile Certified Practitioner (ACP), or other project management certifications.Masters degree in business/Public Administration, Information Technology, or a related fieldExperience in IT program or project managementExperience leading IT project management teamsExperience with vendor managementExperience with software implementation/upgradeExperience working with, or for, public sector organizationsExperience with project and portfolio management toolsExcellent customer service and business relationship communication skills

Some additional details of the position are as follows:Duration: 12 monthsWill only review resumes of highly experienced candidatesInterview process: 1 round remote, possibly 1 round onsiteRole is non-supervisoryHybrid work model; must be in the US and within commuting distance to the Phoenix area for periodic onsite workWork is typically weekdays 8-5; could be nights/weekends (e.g., go-live)City-approved background check requiredSome positions may require CJIS and/or MAX clearance
