Job Description
This role provides support services to the Business Units and/or plants through: (i) the running of commercial and operational reports and the analysis of the data, (ii) actioning the findings of the data, and (iii) assisting in month/quarter/year-end financial processes. The Finance Analyst Sr role analyzes and actions solutions using standard procedures and has a moderate level of guidance and direction.
WHAT YOU GET TO DOAct as a safety leader and put safety first in all responsibilities, promoting an environment where each employee makes safety their first priorityDetailed customer and product profitability analysis (price and cost) and monitoringAnalyze operational results to identify trends, activities driving those trends, and work collaboratively with various groups, including Manufacturing Director, to make improvementsManagement of concession and rebate rules supporting financial reportingSupport review and analysis of new commercial business opportunitiesLimited support to a Plant Controller in day to day operational reviewsSupport process improvement initiativesSupport various aspects of the monthly close process (i.e. journal entries, account reconciliations, expense analysis, and trend analysis)Assist Business Unit Controller with annual budgeting processProvide interim support during Plant Controller openingsDevelop reports and queries from the financial data for analysis, tracking, and/or reporting data to other departmentsMonitor and maintain internal accounting controls to ensure compliance with Sarbanes Oxley requirementsEnsure compliance with Amcor policiesAssist internal and external auditors during financial and operational auditsWHAT WE VALUE
