We are seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent to oversee our commercial and multifamily construction projects. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successfully managing complex construction projects from inception to completion.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily operations on commercial and multifamily construction sites, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards
- Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, construction workers, and other on-site personnel
- Develop and maintain project schedules, monitoring progress and adjusting timelines as needed
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, building codes, and quality control standards
- Collaborate with project managers, architects, engineers, and clients to address project requirements and resolve issues
- Manage project budgets, including estimating costs, tracking expenses, and implementing cost-effective solutions
- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor work quality and identify potential problems
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation, including daily logs and progress reports
- Coordinate material and equipment deliveries, ensuring proper storage and utilization on-site
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 10 years of experience as a Construction Superintendent, with a focus on commercial and multifamily projects
- Proven track record of successfully completing large-scale commercial and multifamily construction projects
- In-depth knowledge of construction methods, building codes, and safety regulations specific to commercial and/or multifamily construction
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to effectively coordinate diverse groups of professionals
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and the capacity to make quick, informed decisions in high-pressure situations
- Proficiency in construction management software, scheduling tools, and Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with all project stakeholders
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field preferred
