This is an exciting opportunity for an entrepreneurial candidate who wants to contribute to a growing business with unlimited upside potential.This position will report to the Division ManagerTravel Requirement: 50-65% of Travel RequiredFLSA Status: ExemptWhat You'll be Responsible For in this Role:In this role, you will supervise sales activities of our organization by performing the following duties personally or through subordinate supervisors:Formulating sales objectives and goalsDeveloping training programs for sales repsParticipating on sales calls and engaging with both existing and new clientsCultivating client relationshipsThis exciting career opportunity can lead to many other promotion opportunities within our organization. Sales Managers ensure that we fulfill our promise!Direct staffing, training, and performance evaluations to develop and control sales programAnalyze individual sales representative’s sales to formulate a plan to assist in reaching established goalsInvolve in product simplification and standardization to eliminate unprofitable items from sales lineRepresent company at trade association meetings to promote productsCoordinate liaison between sales department and other sales-related unitsAssist other departments within the organization to prepare manuals and technical publicationsPrepare periodic sales reports showing sales volume and potential salesDirect product research and developmentRecommend expenditures and appropriations for research and development workAssist with daily sales problemsMaintain communications between management and sales representativesSubmit Quarterly Evaluation and Activity ReportMay assist other Sales Managers when they are on vacationMaintain own salesDevelop new businessConduct meetings with the sales teamAttend Sales Managers and General Sales meetings every 2 weeksConduct quarterly call reviews with assigned sales personPerform other duties and/or responsibilities as assignedHave the authority to initiate action to prevent the occurrence of any non-conformity relating to product, process, and quality systemIdentify and record any problems relating to the product, process, and quality systemVerify the implementation of solutions and control further processing or delivery of nonconforming product until the deficiency or unsatisfactory condition has been correctedPhysical AgilityPlease refer to the Orora North America Job Analysis ReportPerform other duties and/or responsibilities as requestedWhat We’re Looking ForMinimum Qualifications:Four-year degree or two to four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience preferably within the packaging industry or a related industryAdditional Required Qualifications:Business MasteryIntegrated LeadershipPeople DevelopmentChange ManagementIntellectual flexibility & technical acumenPreferred Qualifications:Ability to write reports and business correspondenceAbility to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule formAbility to perform basic mathematical operationsAbility to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulationsAbility to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, and customersAbility to solve practical problemsSAP experienceWhat We OfferOur rich benefits packages are designed to support the health and well-being of both our eligible co-workers and their families.
