Travel Nurse RN - PCU - Progressive Care Unit - $1,973 per week

Certification Details BLS ACLS - Required due to PCU role with potential for cardiac med/surg patients Job Details A large system in Nebraska/Iowa are looking for Night PCU RN's. 12 hour shifts, 36 hours guaranteed. 2 years of unit experience. Job Requirements 2 years of unit experience RNs required to titrate drips Common titratable &/or set rate drips: Heparin, Nitro, Dopamine, Cardizem, Amiodarone, insulin RNs must read and interpret tele monitors RN's required to be flexible and willing to float and work when needed Schedule Information 12 hour shifts 36 hours guaranteed Shifts & Scheduling: 0630-1830, 1830-0630 Weekend Requirements: Every third Holiday Requirements: Rotating with perm staff Unit Specific Information Department: PCU Common diagnoses/Types of patients: Adults, Cardiac med/surg, dialysis, cancer diagnosis, vascular, sepsis, adult respiratory, stroke, post stent, post pacer placement, renal failure Additional Details Beds: 40 beds with average daily census of 24 Ratios: 1:4-5 both days and nights Charge Nurse on each shift Nurse aids/patient care techs on unit RT Equipment: High flow Floating Requirements: To MedSurg or to ICU to take PCU acuity patients Scrub Color/Dress code: Navy Blue 1 week of unit/department specific orientation Radius Rule: 50 miles AND candidates may not be full time, part time, or PRN with any facility associated with CommonSpirit, including CHI and/or Dignity RTO needed upfront (7 or less days per 13 week contract). Additional RTO will not be approved, including after submissions
