The usual course load is two recitations per term. The duties include counseling students in practical hands-on computer sessions, teaching remotely and/or face-to-face, correcting assignments, consulting on programming problems, and grading examination papers. The position also requires scheduling two lab support hours per week and one office hour per week during the term.QualificationsMinimum Education and Experience:

A Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or a related field is preferred, although candidates with strong computer science background and teaching experience will be considered.Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Required skills include:Familiarity with Windows / MAC OS X operating systemsBasic computer knowledgeBasic knowledge of programming in some languageBasic MS Excel knowledgeGood people skillsProficiency with presentation softwareTeaching or tutoring experience is preferred.Special Instructions to Applicants:
