Applicant lists may be screened more than once. Why does the job exist?To maximize reimbursement for all nursing home residents, psychiatric clients and residential treatment care clients under the Medicaid programs. How does it get done?Incumbent will complete Medicaid nursing facility levels of care for initials, readmits and continued stays. Complete Medicaid pending, re-reviews and reconsiderations to ensure reimbursement of patients, residents and clients. Provide assistance and support in verifying clientele benefits and entering information in our financial database. Serve as support staff for treatment team members and outside agencies that may require assistance. Who are the customers?Patients/Clients/Residents, their Guardians and Insurance Companies. Ideal CandidateIdeal candidate will have:Experience working with reimbursements;Experience working with Medicaid and Medicare;Experience working with Social Security Administration. Minimum QualificationHigh School diploma or Equivalency and two (2) years of experience in office administration, budgeting, purchasing, finance, accounting, auditing, cash management and/or contract management. Working ConditionsWork is performed in an office setting with exposure to Visual/Video Display Terminal (VDT) and extensive personal computer and phone usage.
