Query and analyze data out of various CYFD Client Services applications to support graphical and written summaries Serve as one of the supporting contacts for creating quarterly performance measures. Support daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly report distribution to supervisors, managers, and bureau chiefs. Assist in research and interpretation of measures and outcomes from various CYFD programs. Assist in the transition of data governance and reporting during the implementation of the New Mexico IMPACT Application. Serve as a subject matter expert in creating analysis dashboards. Support data informed decision-making for New Mexico Children, Youth and Families Department executive leaders, along with support managers, supervisors, and field staff. How does it get done?40% - Engaging in data querying, aggregating, analysis, quality assurance and reporting for CYFD management and stakeholders. Providing documentation and information guides on data report creations to support managers in strategic planning to assist data unit manager in making decisions about operations and performance to external stakeholders. 30% - Respond to a variety of information requests creating ad hoc reports from the FACTS system and/or other data systems for CYFD mangers and stakeholders including CYFD Secretary, senior management, staff, legislators, and others.20% - Provide aggregate data and reports for consultation and research to support to CYFD management in strategic planning and performance improvement. Support CYFD data unit manager with aggregate data reports to facilitate research and interpretation of measures and outcomes.10% - Support in process improvement and problem-solving groups. Who are the customers?All CYFD departments. Ideal CandidateExperience with Microsoft Products such as Excel including using pivot tables, Microsoft Access Queries, Microsoft PowerPoint, a basic understanding of SQL would be good but not required, experience with basic descriptive statistics would be helpful as would experience with Power BI or other graphical data reporting tools. The ability to weigh the relevance and accuracy of information, generate and evaluate alternative solutions to complex problems and clearly and effectively communicate technical issues to a variety of end users in both written and oral forms. The ability to listen effectively, clarifying information while identifying and analyzing problems. The ability to work effectively as a team member giving and accepting professional feedback. Critical thinking and the ability to use deductive and inductive reasoning in root cause analysis. Time management and organization. Minimum QualificationBachelor's degree and two (2) years of experience including research, statistics, computer science, data analysis, accounting, auditing, finance, economics, business, public administration, budgeting, management and/or systems analysis.
