A prominent law firm is seeking a mid to senior-level Project Finance Associate to join its Project & Energy group. This role will focus on energy transition financing, offering the opportunity to work on internationally recognized deals involving the financing of renewable energy projects. The position can be based at multiple office locations across the U.S., allowing the associate to engage in complex financial and M&A transactions within the energy transition space.Location

Duties

Manage transactions involving the financing and M&A of energy transition projects and companies.Handle tax equity and renewable energy tax credit monetization matters.Draft, review, and negotiate documents related to energy finance transactions.Collaborate with clients on strategic energy-related financial matters.Support large-scale energy transition deals, focusing on innovative financing structures.Requirements

Minimum of 4 years of experience in energy transition finance matters.Experience in tax equity and renewable energy tax credit transactions.Strong analytical, writing, and organizational skills.Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.Effective communication and research skills.Demonstrated business judgment and problem-solving abilities.Education

Juris Doctor (JD) degree.Certifications

Must be admitted to practice law in the jurisdiction of the respective office location.Skills
