Description

ACH Child and Family Services is dedicated to protecting children and preserving families. We're seeking a skilled HR Generalist to join our Human Resources team and help support our mission-driven organization. The HR Generalist - Employee Relations plays a vital role in supporting our organization's most valuable asset - our people. This position partners with the HR Director to deliver comprehensive employee relations support, implement performance management initiatives, and maintain essential HR operations that contribute to a positive workplace culture.

High school diploma2+ years of employee relations experience2-5 years of general Human Resources experienceStrong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple prioritiesExcellent written and verbal communication skillsProven track record of delivering exceptional customer serviceDemonstrated ability to maintain strict confidentialityCultural competency and sensitivity to diverse populationsPreferredPHR or SHRM-CP certificationExperience with HRIS systems (Paylocity)Background in performance managementExperience in nonprofit or social services sectorEssential ResponsibilitiesEmployee Relations & CultureLead employee engagement initiatives including the employee recognition programsConduct and analyze stay interviews to improve employee retentionSupport the agency leadership with employee relations matters including performance improvement plans and conflict resolution. The HR Generalist will be the main point of contact for employee relations issues.Compile and report out on HR dataDevelop and coordinate agency-wide presentations and training materialsHR OperationsManage and maintain compliant employee files according to federal regulationsSupport performance management processes and documentationAssist with audits, monitoring, and accreditation processesPartner with Talent Acquisition to develop and implement employee life-cycle strategies.Provide support for HR department initiativesWork Environment

Professional office environment with hybrid work optionsAbility to work remotely 1-2 days per week after successful training periodPhysical requirements include:

Requirements

Education : High School diploma is required. PHR, or SHRM-CP, preferred.

Experience : Two-years experience working with employee relations, and two to five years in general Human Resources, is required. Experience with performance management preferred. Experience with HRIS preferred.

Functional : Must be able to handle multiple task, detail-oriented, able to work independently. Must demonstrate excellent customer services skills. Strong oral and written communication skills.
