A fantastic nonprofit organization in NYC is seeking a highly organized Development Coordinator to support its fundraising and development efforts. This contract role will play a crucial part in scheduling meetings, managing donor communications, and maintaining the organization's Salesforce database. Ideal candidates will be detail-oriented, proactive, and comfortable managing a range of administrative and donor-related tasks in a hybrid work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Organize and schedule meetings for the development team, ensuring all logistical details are managed, including room reservations, virtual links, and time management.Draft and send acknowledgment letters and thank-you notes to donors, ensuring timely and personalized communication.Coordinate and prepare materials for meetings with donors, stakeholders, and team members, ensuring they are accurate and well-organized.Maintain accurate donor and grant information in Salesforce, ensuring data is current and comprehensive.Collect, track, and record grant-related accomplishments, and assist with reporting to funders.Provide general administrative support to the development team, assisting with tasks as needed to support organizational goals.Assist with presentations, communications, and social media presence.Qualifications:
Prior experience in a development or administrative role, ideally in the nonprofit sector.Proficiency with Salesforce or similar CRM platforms.Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks efficiently.Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.Worksite Type:

Pay Details:
$25.00 to $35.00 per hour
