The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the budgetary strategy for central administrative budgets, ensuring financial alignment with institutional strategic objectives, and establishing protocols for fiscal responsibility and stability. This role involves serving as the principal financial advisor to senior leadership, leading zero-base budgeting efforts, and managing the preparation of comprehensive financial analyses and reports. The Executive Director will also contribute to short-term and strategic planning, recommend optimal financial structures, and lead special projects to drive performance improvement and operational efficiencies. Applicants must have a bachelor's degree and at least ten years of experience in budgeting and financial analysis, with a preference for those with experience in higher education, academic medical centers, or equivalent environments. The role requires a self-starter with a strong background in quantitative analysis, expert-level computer proficiency, and the ability to work with minimal oversight. The ideal candidate will have a well-developed knowledge of financial analysis, be detail-oriented, and have the ability to work collaboratively with a diverse group of administrators.
