The Administrative Operations Manager I / Contracts Bureau Chief will:
- Ensure delivery of products and services contractually for compliance;
- Assist divisions in development of General and Professional Service contracts including Memorandum of Understanding (MOU), General Service Agreements (GSA), and Request for Proposals (RFP);
- Create Envelopes into DocuSign;
- Create contract modules in the SHARE system;
- Ensure the correct procurement method is being used.
The Administrative Operations Manager I / Contracts Bureau Chief is responsible for:
- Assigning, reviewing/editing Procurement Contracts and Scopes of Work;
- Understanding and knowledge of the Procurement Code, New Mexico Administrative Code (NMAC);
- Understanding and knowledge of Model Accounting Practices (MAPS);
- Monitoring and tracking contracts utilizing agencies bonfire system.
- This position serves Office of the Secretary and Health Care Authority Divisions.
The Ideal Candidate has:
- Experience supervising staff;
- Experience with contract process in NM state government;
- Experience utilizing SHARE contract and purchasing module;
- Experience preparing and processing contracts, provider agreements and requests for proposals.
Minimum Qualification
A Bachelor's Degree in any field of study from an accredited college or university and six (6) years of professional level experience with a tactical impact directly related to the purpose of the position defined by the agency at the time of recruitment. Any required licensure, certification or registration shall be defined at the time of recruitment and will be in addition to the above requirements.

Employment Requirements
Must possess and maintain valid driver's license.
Working Conditions
Work is performed in an office setting with exposure to Visual/Video Display Terminal (VDT) and extensive personal computer and phone usage. Some sitting, standing, bending and reaching may be required.
