About the Role

The Company is seeking a Vice President for Human Resources to provide strategic leadership and oversight of the HR function. The successful candidate will be responsible for the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures that ensure compliance with all relevant laws, as well as for talent acquisition, performance management, and employee relations. This role involves collaborating with executive leadership, campus chancellors, and HR staff to recruit and develop a diverse workforce and to create a positive work environment. The VP will also lead the planning and implementation of HR initiatives, work with legal counsel on employment matters, and oversee the College's annual awards program and regulatory reporting requirements. Candidates for the Vice President for Human Resources position at the company must have a Master's degree, with a preference for industry certification, and a minimum of 5 years' of executive HR leadership experience. The role requires a proven track record in HR management, including the ability to resolve conflicts, make sound decisions, and communicate effectively. The ideal candidate will be a highly self-motivated individual with a hands-on approach to HR, a strong customer service focus, and a commitment to promoting an inclusive and diverse work environment. Experience with Workday HCM is preferred. The VP will be expected to travel and must demonstrate the ability to work within the parameters of professional standards and regulatory requirements.
