About the Role
The Company is seeking a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to provide strategic guidance and support on all financial and business matters. The CFO will be responsible for overseeing the fiscal operations, ensuring sound budget management, and leading efforts to maintain financial stability and growth. This role involves working closely with the Superintendent and leadership team to develop and implement a comprehensive financial plan that aligns with the organization's goals and priorities. The CFO will also be involved in bond and levy development, managing the annual budget, and ensuring compliance with state and federal financial reporting and auditing requirements. Applicants for the CFO position at the company should have a Bachelor's degree in accounting, business administration, or a related field, with a minimum of 3 years' experience in an administrative role overseeing the financial operations of a school district or equivalent experience. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in maintaining the financial health of a school district, knowledge of relevant laws and regulations, and excellent communication and leadership skills. A Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and a Master's degree are desired qualifications. The CFO will be expected to lead the annual budget process, manage district resources within budget parameters, and ensure effective financial management across the organization.
