About the Role
The Company is seeking a Chief Financial Officer with a Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience, and a successful history of financial planning and management. The ideal candidate should have outstanding human relations and leadership skills, be a good communicator, and possess strong organizational skills. Experience in the school finance setting, with Komputrol software, and in procurement is desired. The CFO will be responsible for overseeing all business activities of the school district, including business office management, insurance and risk management, personnel supervision, and legal affairs. The CFO will manage the day-to-day operations of the business office, provide monthly fiscal reports, attend School Board meetings, and assist in budget preparation. They will also oversee the insurance program, personnel files, and legal document processing. Proficiency in Excel and technology for communication is essential, as is the ability to learn new computer skills. The successful candidate will be a problem solver, able to supervise and coordinate staff, and will ensure the financial and business operations of the school district are in compliance with all regulations. Experience with data processing equipment and grant financial management is also required.
