Senior Commercial Real Estate Attorney We are pleased to offer an exciting opportunity for a Senior Commercial Real Estate Attorney at our dynamic law firm based in Baltimore, Maryland. This position caters to attorneys with substantial experience in commercial real estate finance, involving both lender side and borrower side transactions. Ideal candidates will be involved in sophisticated operations including leverage transactions and elements of preferred equity and joint ventures. Dependent on Experience per year Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Structure, negotiate, and close complex commercial real estate transactions. Provide expert legal advice to clients on a wide range of issues related to commercial real estate finance. Manage financing aspects involving leverage transactions, preferred equity, and coordination of joint ventures. Draft and review loan documents, contracts, and other legal documents related to real estate transactions. Maintain strong relations and open communication lines with all clients, ensuring their legal needs are addressed efficiently and proactively. Identify and mitigate risks associated with commercial real estate transactions. Minimum Position Qualifications: Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited law school. Admission to the Bar in the state of Maryland. Proven experience in commercial real estate finance and transactional law. Exceptional oral and written communication skills. Strong academic credentials and a track record of professional success in similar roles. Demonstrated ability to handle complex legal transactions with a poised and analytical approach. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with preferred equity arrangements and joint venture transactions. Established connections in the Maryland commercial real estate market. A proactive approach to handling client issues and superb problem-solving skills. Prior experience in a senior role within a law firm. Strong leadership skills and the ability to mentor junior attorneys and paralegal staff. In-depth understanding of state and federal real estate regulations. Skills: Highly skilled in negotiation and conflict resolution. Proficient in legal research and utilizing legal research software. Excellent decision-making abilities and a strategic thinker. Detail-oriented with a rigorous approach to drafting documents and verifying legal data. Capability to work under pressure and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
