Job Summary
As the Enterprise Integration Architect (EIA) at the Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection, you will tackle complex integration challenges to streamline data synchronization processes and enhance system interconnectivity across both shipboard and shoreside operations. In this pivotal role, you will lead the development and implementation of API-driven integrations, significantly enhancing the efficiency of partner onboarding and reducing operational costs through the use of reusable integration frameworks. Your expertise will be crucial in mitigating risks associated with system interdependencies, ensuring a robust and resilient architecture for integration and API management.
Essential FunctionsDesign and implement integration strategies across shipboard and shoreside systems to ensure seamless connectivity and functionalityDevelop and maintain architectural frameworks for integration, leveraging industry best practicesCollaborate with IT and business stakeholders to define and refine technical requirements for system integrationsLead the technical design, development, and maintenance of integrations with Salesforce CRM, Dynamics 365 F&O, and other mission critical systemsProvide expert guidance on API development, data transformation, and middleware processes.Mentor and provide architectural direction to development teams during the software development life cycleDefine EA standards, EA governance frameworks, and assist with system integration standardsProvide expert advice to project teams on use of integration technology, data architecture and modeling, system architecture including integration best practicesWork with project teams in definition of requirements for integration strategies of their projects into the Enterprise ArchitectureManage internal resources as well as augmented or externally sourced team membersOversee development and support of batch and backend processes related to the application portfolioAssist with incident response, troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and problem resolutionCollaborate closely with technical, data, and security architects to prepare integration architecture recommendations, implementation plans, and ensure delivery aligns with expectations and non-functional requirementsDefine integration specification together with Enterprise Architects and products teams, understanding their integration needs and providing expert guidance on technology choices and implementation strategies for these specific integrationsDefine the end-to-end integration architecture covering process, application, data, and technology. Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and organizational policies and proceduresLead the design and implementation of new integrations within the IT landscape, ensure alignment with the enterprise architecture and meeting both functional and non-functional requirementsKeep the integration team up to date with emerging technologies and trends, ensuring technical integrity and consistency of each integration solution throughout its lifecycleCollaborate with vendors, ensuring effective vendor management for integration technologies, solution selection and participate in the resolution of technical issues or escalationsAdvocate integration-specific architecture plans and strategies to all IT architects and the impacted product teamsSkills and Experience
BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or a related disciplineAt least 3 years of experience in an integration architecture roleExperience defining and maintaining architecture standards and policiesStrong knowledge of emerging technologies and trends within application and integration architectureProven experience in leading large scale integration projects, including design and implementation of complex systemsExtensive knowledge of integration frameworks (SOA, APIs, microservices) and middleware technologiesExcellent communication and leadership skills, capable of driving technology initiatives and influencing stakeholdersAbility to work collaboratively with other IT leaders and stakeholders to achieve common goalsPreferred experience with Salesforce CRM, Dynamics F&O, AWS, iPaaS - MulesoftWork Environment
