If this vacancy includes more than one grade and you are selected at a lower grade level, you will have the opportunity to learn to perform these duties and receive training to help you grow in this position.Holds conferences and negotiates issues with taxpayers/representatives to resolve tax disputes in a fair and impartial manner.Advises and coaches team members regarding their team assignments, providing appropriate and substantive feedback on team assignments.Communicates and fosters dialogue with peers, customers, and partners.RequirementsTelework Eligible Positions:
Employees must meet and sustain IRS telework eligibility requirements.Must be a U.S. Citizen or National and provide proof of U.S. Citizenship.Must successfully complete a background investigation, including an FBI criminal history record check.QualificationsYou must meet the following requirements by the closing date of this announcement.SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE:GS-07: You must have at least one year of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-05 grade level in the Federal service.GS-09: You must have at least one year of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-07 grade level in the Federal service.GS-11: You must have at least one year of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-09 grade level in the Federal service.GS-12: You must have at least one year of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-11 grade level in the Federal service.GS-13: You must have at least one year of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-12 grade level in the Federal service.GS-14: You must have at least one year of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-13 grade level in the Federal service.GS-15: You must have at least one year of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-14 grade level in the Federal service.Additional InformationA 1-year probationary period is required.Have your salary sent to a financial institution of your choice by Direct Deposit/Electronic Funds Transfer.This is a bargaining unit position.Tour of Duty: Day Shift - Start and stop times between 6:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m.Required DocumentsThe following documents are required and must be provided with your application:Online Application
