Job Description
We are looking for an Associate Attorney to join our firm with a minimum of 3 plus years of experience in Personal Injury & Medical Malpractice.
Duties
Conduct legal research and analysis using Lexis-Nexis.Draft legal documents, including expert affidavits, pleadings, and motions (e.g., MSJ responses, MILs).Assist with case preparation and management.Defend clients and experts in deposition.Assist senior attorney at trial.Collaborate with senior attorneys to develop legal case theory.
Minimum RequirementsJuris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.Admitted to practice law in the relevant jurisdiction.Strong research and analytical skills.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.Prior experience in litigation and legal drafting is preferred.Familiarity with medical malpractice procedures and practices.
SkillsProficiency in conducting legal research.Ability to litigate cases effectively in court.Strong research skills to gather relevant information for cases.Excellent writing skills to draft clear and concise legal documents.Knowledge of legal research methods and techniques.Experience in legal administrative tasks such as case management and document organization.Ability to negotiate settlements and agreements on behalf of clients.
