We are assisting a construction company with their search for a talented Assistant Controller. This company is looking for a passionate and accomplished Construction Accounting Professional to help improve upon their current accounting operations through automation and process improvement initiatives. They offer a great internal culture and are looking for someone that can add value to the business and the culture. This is a permanent, full-time position offering a salary up to $150,000 and requires full in-office attendance 5 days a week.Responsibilities include:Financial leadership of an established construction operationManage a team of 5 in the day-to-day accountingResponsible for month-end close, budget reporting, WIP, fixed assets, etc.Work closely with the Controller and CFO on financial initiativesServe as a resource for process re-engineering and implementationRequirements:Bachelor’s in Accounting, plus 2 or more years in public accounting requiredCurrent or recent Accounting Manager or Assistant Controller level role within a construction companyMust be a true accounting leader, someone that can serve as a strategic partner to leadership, but also inspire the accounting team to perform at the highest levelsTechnically savvy, experience optimizing and automating processes through technical advancementsExperience with a construction accounting platform such as SageCPA a plus, but not requiredIf you would like to be considered for this position, please email your resume to
