Job Details:

We are seeking a driven and detail-oriented Corporate Paralegal to join our dynamic team in the Telecom industry. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting our legal department with various administrative and legal tasks. This position requires a strong understanding of KYC (Know Your Customer), AML (Anti-Money Laundering), Compliance, and regulatory filing procedures. The candidate will have the opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, where each day brings new challenges and opportunities.

Responsibilities:

1. Assist in the preparation and management of corporate and regulatory filings.
2. Conduct thorough KYC and AML procedures to ensure compliance with legal requirements.
3. Prepare, review, and maintain KYC documentation, ensuring all documents are accurate and up-to-date.
4. Assist in the implementation and management of corporate compliance programs.
5. Conduct legal research and provide legal support to various departments within the company.
6. Liaise with external legal counsel and regulatory authorities as required.
7. Manage and maintain a comprehensive and organized system of legal documents and records.
8. Support the legal team in the preparation of legal opinions, agreements, and other legal documents.
9. Participate in special projects as assigned by the legal department.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s Degree in Law, Business Administration, or related field.
2. Paralegal Certification is strongly preferred.
3. A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Corporate Paralegal, preferably in the Engineering industry.
4. Solid understanding and experience with KYC, AML, Compliance, and regulatory filings.
5. Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
6. Strong research and report-writing skills.
7. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
8. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
9. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and familiar with legal software.
10. Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
11. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions under pressure.
12. Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
