Our Investment Banking Group provides clients with the full range of financing and advisory services to achieve management's objectives throughout the entire business life cycle. Wedbush Securities is looking for an Investment Banking Administrative Assistant to support senior level management in our Investment Banking division. The ideal candidate will be extremely organized and have the ability to work in a demanding and fast-paced environment with colleagues across multiple offices handling complex and confidential information, and having daily interaction with clients and professionals within Wedbush. This position will be located in our New York City office.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:Answer and route inbound calls and telephone messages, and interact with investment banking clients per guidance from banking professionalsCirculate incoming correspondence, mail and faxAssist in preparing client presentations, reports and correspondence in PowerPoint, Word, and ExcelBook, coordinate and prepare travel itineraries for banking professionals, and attend certain offsite meetings, special events and conferencesDevelop relationships with other Wedbush departments to facilitate the smooth functioning of administrative responsibilitiesManage and oversee expense requests, allocate all department expenses, track all client/transaction expenses, reimbursement and travel approval processPrepare and/or approve accounts payable requests, invoices for payment, check requests and expense reports, within specified parameters and dollar amounts - work closely with accounting to ensure prompt processing and reimbursementManage special department events requiring travel, registration, refreshments and other amenities, both on-site and off-sitePerform other tasks and duties as required and assignedExperience and Skills

Bachelor's Degree from an accredited University2 years of experience as an administrative or executive assistant, ideally in a financial services related firm or large corporate environmentKnowledge of corporate finance, investment banking, and securities transactions highly desirableMust be highly computer literate and extremely proficient in MS Office including Outlook, Word, Excel & PowerPointWorking knowledge of multi-line phone systems and other office technologyExcellent communication and presentation skills are essentialAbility to interact professionally and effectively with investment banking clientsJob BenefitsWhat Wedbush Offers You

Applications will be accepted until the position is filled. Decisions regarding compensation are determined on a case-by-case basis and are dependent on a variety of factors including but not limited to location; skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. A reasonable estimate of the current hiring range is $64,000-$75,000.
