Our Accounting and Finance department is seeking an experienced professional. The position is responsible for the management of the activities of the Expense Control and Accounts Payable team. The Manager will manage the full-cycle accounts payable process and expense-related accounting entries recorded as part of close processes..

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:Manage the control team consisting of 5 total membersManage the full-cycle accounts payable process including review of invoice/expense reimbursement reports and payment processingManage correspondence with vendors and colleagues regarding invoice, payable/expense accounting inquiriesManage the expense control team monthly accounting close, including review and approval of monthly accruals, reversals, and amortization entriesReview monthly balance sheet reconciliations for various prepaid, AP accrual, and tax withholding accountsAnalyze and forecast organization's expensesReview IRA/TEFRA withholding payments and quarterly/annual filings for state and federal requirementsLead annual property statement filingsPerform other duties as required and assignedExperience and Skills

Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university, preferably in Accounting/Finance or related fieldAdvanced knowledge and understanding of U.S. GAAP10+ years of previous experience in expense controlMinimum 3 years of experience in management roleProficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint) with strong Excel skillsHighly organized and able to multi-task and manage multiple projects and competing priorities without sacrificing accuracy or efficiencyExcellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to communicate effectively across various departments and levels of the organizationAbility to analyze processes and improve efficiencyStrong analytical, problem-solving and critical-thinking skillsStrong management and supervision skillsExperience in Financial Services, particularly broker/dealerCPA requiredJob BenefitsAs part of the overall compensation package, Wedbush Securities (WS) offers an array of diverse benefits to our Colleagues.

Applications will be accepted until the position is filled. Decisions regarding compensation are determined on a case-by-case basis and are dependent on a variety of factors including but not limited to location; skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. A reasonable estimate of the current hiring range is $95,000-$135,000.
