The Business Broker role acts as the intermediary during either the sale or purchase of a business, managing the entire deal process and all parties involved. Our office, in particular, focuses on the main street to lower middle market, helping all types of businesses sized from $1 million to $50 million in revenue through these transactions each year. As our team grows in size and depth, we need additional business-savvy professionals to continue our mission of supporting small businesses in the Washington DC Metro area. We are currently looking for new business brokers in Downtown Washington DC and Annapolis, MD offices.
The small to medium-sized business sale market has never been better! Retiring Baby Boomers will transfer $10 trillion worth of assets over the next 10 years. These assets are held in more than 12 million privately held businesses. More than 70 percent of these companies are expected to change hands. Recent tax rate changes will exhilarate business transactions in the near term. Business Brokers are set to take advantage of this exploding market.

Overview of Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
Supporting small to medium-sized businesses through a buy or sale transaction
Marketing of business and franchise opportunities for sale
Negotiation and deal structuring
Management of due diligence
Experience Required:
At least five years experience in a professional business-to-business sale required
Four-year bachelor's degree from an accredited business school
Compensation - This is a full-time commission-only (1099 independent contractors) role with pay range up to $100k-$500k+ approximately annually.
One-month onboarding and training process
