VP Portfolio Manager – C&I and Middle Market
Location: Houston, TX
Our client, a large regional bank with a strong presence in Houston, is seeking a VP Portfolio Manager for its C&I and Middle Market group. This role is responsible for underwriting and managing middle market transactions ranging from $10M to $75M+, as well as maintaining relationships within the existing portfolio.
Responsibilities:
- Underwrite and structure middle market commercial loans
- Perform credit analysis, risk assessment, and financial modeling
- Monitor portfolio performance and manage credit quality
- Work with relationship managers on client needs and portfolio strategy
- Participate in client meetings and support relationship development
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in commercial loan underwriting
- Formal credit training required
- Experience with middle market transactions
- Strong financial analysis and risk assessment skills
